Yes - or Boogie Fland, Claude, Watkins, Haggerty . . .not all of those guys are going to stay in the draft. And we have a perfect spot for a primary scorer to land with not one, but two pass first PG's stretch bigs and absolutely nobody as a scorer at the wing to compete for time with and also . . .money to spendI mean, when Adam Miller was playing games, we said fine we'll go get a 22-year-old guard who's far superior to him from Eastern Europe. If that's our permanent back-up plan I'm not too concerned.
Well, Holy Cross has a rich history and I bet a very tame fan base.I was just wondering… what if someone in Andrej’s camp reads this board and realizes that we are too much to deal with.
/s (lowercase because only kind of)

It is raining here so no walk, but the shot of tequila was dandy.I took a walk with my dog outside andI'll drink to that!
Stojakovic was a pivot himself in the first place.if stoj is a miss this offseason is a miss. don't see the staff being able to pivot to another true quality target.
The teams don't have that kind of leverage, they want the player and the player has options.I just don't understand why deadlines are not given to make a decision and then move on to someone else.
Hingle said this, great start: "Could not agree more. But that is where we need a strong recruiting and player development staff of Asst Coaches across the board, but that is exactly what we lack."It's an uneasy feeling because all of these Illinois transfer portal targets seem fully dependent on price. Transfer portal is here to stay, so need to look at the other side: How can the program create more player attachment to the program where it's not a yearly auction for player services?
There's not a magic elixir for everyone, but getting 4-5 guys annually that you know are willing to stick around because of buy-in to the staff, program, etc. could really throttle down the risk of having to re-recruit an entire roster and hope it gels.
that's too bad.............I'm still medded up.........and glad I am.............Got to be honest the buzz for me has worn off. Hopefully he’s signed and good to go but I just feel like I started out in a sprint on this mile run.
But aren't we the good kind of crazy??![]()
I did the Belushi chug freshman year in the 6-pack. Even kept it down for 15-20 minutes after. Would not recommend. To the 2 Illinettes that assisted in the clean-up. Sorry again.
Username checks outI really think Stojakovic isn't the only name we need to make a final 4... Need some killers not Cal/Stanford offense
we like you too! I completely get it! However, you're appreciated!

Not really. What changed was both Drake Powell officially declaring for the draft plus VAL hitting the portal. Drake was gonna get $2-2.5m and VAL was gonna get around ~$1.0m.It 100% impacts Andrej. Less money in their NIL pool. Doesn’t mean he won’t go there. Can North Carolina round up enough dough to better Illinois’s offer?
I really think it’s that cut and dry.
I read this as Taylor Rooks. Thanks, Pru. Really.Brooks Taylor have any eligiability left?
