Nice victories today. This is usually where we have laid an egg in recent year. Taking 3-4 would be nice.
the sweep yesterday doubled our total number of road victories for THE SEASON.......from 2 to 4.......unreal bad start to road W's..

winning today will be first road series win for the season....................Graceffo looked great yesterday getting his first win with 5 good innings only allowing 1 run.......Graceffo and McGreevy look like future rotation additions.........

if this is a year when we find out what we have in the system, the future is now.

So glad we continue our "Meh" start. Two great games yesterday, followed by a dud today...sigh
took a nap when rain delay happened.....evidently our hitters did the same......

the hot and cold play will not increase tix sales............it really really won't.................

i do appreciate that the young players (Scott, Winn, Saggese, McGreevey, Graffeco sp?)
showing some future. Maybe they'll motive Gorman, Burle and Walker.

On June 1st, will the Cardinals be over .500?
Currently 17-19

2 more vs. Pirates
3 @ Nationals
3 @ Phillies
3 @ Royals
3 vs. Tigers
3 vs. D-backs
3 @ Orioles
3 @ Rangers

I predict 11-12 since most are on the road, but curious what others think.

I’m not and never have been one with a mindset to give in and it seems the fans have and ownership hit what I think they thought was a bigger reset. Problem is, the lineup is performing and starting pitching has been enough. The lineup was never going to be a problem this year. Luck alone wouldn’t let that happen. It is a shame the only add was Maton and I think that only happened because the players union was barking a bit. The bullpen has been atrocious. Something like 10 blown leads? Around about? Is this a championship level team, no, but it is a team that could compete. Expanded playoffs and get a hot pitcher or two, you never know. All you need is a chip and chair at the table. A problem with that is, if they were to be buyers, what do you give up? The system isn’t exactly flush and that could set us back even further. I enjoy this team. They fight. There is more competency on the bench this year, but Oli still isn’t a big league manager. I watch every night and am glad I can. Wish I lived closer to go to more games.

To answer your question of about 5 come June. Possible, but going to have to see something on the road. I’m going to go with 3 under.

Burly gets Skenes again. Broadcast said he has the most hits off of Paul than any other player. Would be huge to get Alec going.
