Haven't been keeping us with this much. Is there any word if and when there may be a possible candidate for hire come in and totally revamp the defense? Inquiring minds would like to know.

What if the shooter sinks the 3 and is fouled?

Only a true Illini fan could come up with this scenario. I suppose the the free throw would be missed, but tipped in for a 5 point play.

In my post, I was assuming that with a 4 point lead, and the clock getting ready to buzz, our team would back off and not foul. I should know better after the PSU game in '24.

Hal is a legend, played on so many great hits in the 60's and 70's. Has been said he was the most recorded drummer of all time, with the Wrecking Crew and on his own. Hope we can get an AC that helps make this years team such a legend!

Yeah, I was just funnin’ you. But you are exactly correct about “only a true Illini fan could come up with this”. Been there done that. I have had too many heartaches over the years. Too many what ifs, what coulda been. Even this past year with the injuries and illnesses.

AC's are important in retaining players. They are the ones that recruited them.

Major mistake last year not to replace Anderson just to save money. Crazy that we paid him $700k NOT to show up for work.
