Ben deserved some criticism at times but it is much overblown. Others struggled even more than Ben in areas but others were often not talked about and Ben blamed. I think many in here would complain about which side of the bed he gets up on in the morning if they could see it. KJ made risky, poor passes often just like he did at the end of the Tennessee game that were on KJ and no one else.
He is going to get drafted, and he is likely going to play more in the G-League than in the NBA next year, regardless. I guess if he is willing to roll the dice on the financial implications, it is what it is...
There's no "if" on rolling the dice. Plenty of uncertainty either way as far as we, as casual observers, see.
What concerns me is "fans", who have no clue about the situation, insulting one of our players by suggesting his (and his advisors') thought process is based on willful ignorance.

Your original post was in regards to his coaching and the utilization of KJ, who apparently TU mismanaged into 3rd-team All-Big Ten as a true freshman. At the time KJ was playing, TU did in fact have coaching experience. And assuming he is indeed architect of our offense, then is experience was in crafting a top-3 offense on an Elite Eight team.
Y'all need to quit Foaling around and start worrying about how we are going to Herd these players into a Team. Hoof to Tail I think we have a pretty darned good Stable of Stallions that can run circles around the League.

With all due respect, KJ was a turnover machine, many of which were of the live ball variety which led to layups, many of which stopped our scoring runs, many of which extended other teams scoring runs.....most of which were of the completely mindless variety(dribbling it off his foot, being loose with the ball and it getting swiped, getting stuck in the lane after picking up his dribble and getting stuck in the air directly under the hoop with nowhere to go with the ball.
