Cardinals are on a nice streak with hitting , pitching and defense all gelling at the same time.... This run is fueling my optimistic nature to a point of expecting the Cardinals playing a competitive game every day and also expecting the younger players leading the way doing it......

There is evidence of greater production with just those 26 years old and younger.........I am getting more positive about the Cardinals every day .....will it continue ?....who knows , but I'm going to enjoy this current trend of play inching up for the positive......

I really really am......................

# 9 is so De-Vine......................very exciting 3-2 victory by the Cardinals....................game had a post season air about it with great pitching by both starters ( Sanchez & Liberatore ) and airtight bullpen performance by Leahy , Romero and Helsley...........

gotta give Jordan Walker some praise for his catch to end the game also.............

Herrera's return has been the offensive spark we needed ...............it really really was and is.......................

Masyn Winn with the game winning home run...............YA-HOOOOOOO.........................

Cardinals with a great 2nd game win after disappointing first game loss.....I thought after Gray gave up 5 runs in the bottom of the 1st that was game over.....Cards with 19 hits in the 2nd game and Burleson with 4 rbi's for a gritty 14-7 victory....

Whatever happens the rest of the season, I really, really like this team. I hope our fans wake up and go see this team. I hope ownership does what is right and gives this team the tools should we be there.

I'm guessing it's more of a mental break type of IL stint for him. Ankle may just be more of an excuse for them to put him on the IL.
