khonan leaving makes a bit more sense. psu probably couldn't even outbid a mid-second round flyer.

luis and watkins - could they sneak into the first round, sure, but way more unlikely than likely. financially would've made much more sense to come back, especially luis since he's that much younger.

Or a big body big? Wouldn't hurt for when we inevitably run up against those big bruiser guys. Rim protector for the Michigan game against Morez and company. Or an aggressive rim attacker on the wing or PF spot. Just another aggressive guy that will put the issue on the other teams is what I'm asking for. On both sides of the ball. If they decide to add of course.

Or he could play valuable minutes, have a clear path to starter for year 2, and transfer anyway.

Just give me the best lineup possible regardless of how the freshmen feel about it.

Morez Johnson - 18 mpg, injured
Kids make poor decisions due to Portal and $NIL

Transfers that made sense
NIco Moretti - more playing time at FAU 22 mpg
Luke Goode - dream school IU, more playing time 26 mpg (up from 20 mpg) more $NIL
Dain Dainja - starter 27 mpg (up from 10 mpg) 15 ppg 8 rpg
Sencire Harris - starter 27 mpg

I mean we are miles ahead of about 80% of the B1G... some of these rosters are straight cheeks

Same goes for the rest of the power conferences currently filling rosters out with low-major xfer projects

CBB parity about to take a big hit this season with most teams having to start over after all of their 5/6th year guys can't play anymore

which rosters are you referring to? Purdue, Oregon, MSU, Michigan, UCLA, Indiana, Wisconsin are all well set up for success. I'd even argue USC in there - if Claude were back that roster would be real scary.

Of the teams you listed:

Indiana returns exactly zero players, couple decent guys in there but for the most part its a band of low-to-mid-major misfits
Michigan St has a decent point guard, but what else?
Wisconsin? Blackwell and a whole lot of 'meh'
Oregon currently only has 8 players on their roster, they're going to have some real liabilities in their rotation (top 7-8)
USC? If Claude were back... but he's not

So like I said, we are miles ahead of about 80% of the B1G... teams on our level or close to it, talent-wise: Purdue, Michigan, UCLA (I still have Purdue ahead of everyone)

The other half of the league looks to be hurting pretty bad as of right now with not a lot out there to fill holes adequately

EDIT: I think Washington has a chance to be pretty good, but again, they return basically nothing

Don't disagree with you but obviously we are NIL limited. It would be nice to add depth at guard positions.

Definitely agree. No excuse to not get a high seed this year. (<= 4 seed)
