My wife and I will be in London from 8/27-9/2. While we're both soccer fans, we don't really follow EPL. I believe the 25-26 season will just be starting when we're there and we'd like to go watch a match.
Can someone provide some information on how to get tickets? We're not picky about who we see, we're primarily interested in taking in a good match and experiencing the game environment.
Thanks,

Thanks,

Once the schedule is announced in a few weeks (June 18), we'll be able to give you a better idea of the matches you may want to check out. There will be 7 EPL teams in London this season so you'll have your choice of who to go see. You are going there at a good time though as if you'd be heading there a week later, it would be during the first international break of the season.

based on this season... arsenal, chelsea, fulham, brentford, crystal palace, west ham, tottenham... in that order. of course depends on the opponent too. seems the era of the "big six" is over with other clubs competing and 1-2 of them finishing outside the top places.

The Groundhopper Guide has ticket connections with most of the clubs and a lot of good practical advice. As noted above, once the fixtures are released, you'll have a better idea as to what's available. There's a book you can buy from the site which is very interesting and helpful even if you don't use the service.

Ange Postecoglou sacked by Spurs.

Brentford manager Thomas Frank is among leading candidates to replace Postecoglou. Other names being discussed include Poch, Andoni Iraola (Bournemouth manager), Marco Silva (Fulham manager), and Oliver Glasner (Crystal Palace manager).

despite winning the UEL, spurs part ways with Postecoglou.

@KBLEE who's on the short list as replacement?

The list in the post above yours is spot-on. I'd say Frank is far and away the favorite, with some saying he could be announced as early as next week. After him, Poch and Silva are the names I'm hearing most.

One name not mentioned above is Xavi Hernandez. He could be a dark-horse candidate.

Fixture schedule to be announced tomorrow at 9:00 AM BST (3:00 AM Central here in the states).

Premier League has said they will give clubs at least 60 hours rest between matches over the festive period with no matches played on Christmas Eve.

@cuillini so it looks like there will only be two PL matches in London the weekend you and your wife are there. Chelsea-Fulham at Stamford Bridge and Spurs-Bournemouth at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

With Chelsea-Fulham being a derby match (more specifically the West London derby), it may be easier to get tickets for the Spurs-Bournemouth match but both matches should be good ones to see.
