More reason to hate Michigan basketball.
I would put money down that they tampered with Morez before the season was over.
Live by the game die by the game... its not like our coaches haven't done the same thing.
The only ppl I think look truly bad in this are the Johnsons, who obviously felt embarrassed about backing out of a commitment for the bag.
petrovic still hasn't signed, not on campus. hope there's a backup plan in place just incase.
I don't think Tomi was cleared as eligible until Oct 31 last year, so I wouldn't rile everyone up just yet
The reason I don't think this was the case was because of how badly he left. If they're tampering with him, why'd he even bother signing our NIL deal?
To be fair, I think everyone "tampers" now.

Too late in the process for a backup plan with just about everyone committed.
Maybe they tampered after he signed the deal?

Most of the teams in the B1G right now still have unsigned recruits. Actually, roughly 1/3rd of the B1G teams still have multiple unsigned recruits.
I feel this might be even more common with Euro recruits because eligibility (# of years, mainly) isn't nearly as clear cut with them. Dame Sarr didn't sign. Louisville's big Euro recruit didn't sign and he committed in February. The big time Euros that recently committed to Va Tech & Miami haven't signed either.

There were rumors floating around last December that Morez already was being courted by other programs. Some of those rumors posted here IIRC.
I think that most college players are being courted (tampered with) by other programs during the season. Sucks, but it's what it is.
