theoretical question: if the Sutter unofficial was after the Bama visit would it have made a difference?
makes no sense why he'd visit that many times (including the last one) and go elsewhere. even more unlikely him having everyone in MTZ come out hoping Illinois and commit to Auburn.

I don't think he was gonna come back just 2-3 days before his announcement. Probably wants the few days to take it all in. We should take it for as much as a positive as it was that he and JC both wanted to come back at all right before Mack's Bama visit.
Side note Im sure it was awesome to meet Nick Saban... Great history... Alabama is a storied program.... Illinois pitch is about the future, about going places never before achieved.... Call me sucker, call me a homer, but I believe that pitch is something that only comes around once in a lifetime!!! ILL
