I've been on the bandwagon of these two for a long time. All the excitement of recruiting really made people forget that we have two outstanding four-stars ready to contribute.

If Wagler and Lee can reproduce what Cox and Harris did for Purdue last year in the aggregate (~10 ppg, 35 3pt% on ~30 mpg combined) I would be ecstatic.
I will probably go with better player evaluation,some of this so called blue bloods seems to invest in those flashy names and not the blue collar hard nose types .
Wasn’t sure how Wagler would fit in this year. Really glad to hear he’s further along than expected.

I had season tickets that year as I was in Law School at the time. Nick was from Ohio, and I believe Nick Connor, who also was from Ohio joined him that year.
Being from Canton, IL and hearing my dad talk about him a million times, I can say with relatively certainty Mr Downey was a Little Giant.
My Bad. Spoon was indeed from Canton, Ohio. Maybe Underwood should limit his U.S. High School recruiting for the ILLINI to players who live in cities named Canton!

I have a real good feel about big Z this year. Bigger, stronger and I think our system is a much better fit for him. Could be a breakout year!
Has T always been that much bigger than Z, or has it just been a thing since T was at Illinois?
I know T got bigger at Illinois, but I was just wondering about before they came stateside.
I researched it a bit- Tomi was announced as 230 lbs when he committed. He's now listed as 255.
Zvonimir was listed as 235 when he joined Arkansas last year and is now listed as 245.
In other words, it appears Tomi surpassed his brother from 5 lbs behind to 10 lbs ahead in the span of a year.
