By no means was that a pretty watch…but when we adjusted and had Kylan on Flagg, he was not the one that torched us….it was everyone else.
Duke scored 50+ points in both halves and Flagg played 23 minutes total. I'm a masochist and looked at the 2nd half of that game. Flagg had 2 dunks, a layup, and an assist before the first tv timeout. When did the lockdown start?

20 years from now people will be bragging about how they were at both the game that Rennie dunked on Shaq AND the one that Kylan shut down Flagg.

Legend.

He may not have locked down Flagg, but neither did anyone else the entire year. He was our best option on him and actually did a respectable job considering how much height he was giving up.

Are they contracts? Seems like the players can break them at any time they feel like it. Also, you didn't make this point, but an NBA contract is nothing like what is going on in college right now.

It is a surgical procedure, so it's not nothing, but it's an outpatient procedure. You're back home the same day. So on the less extreme end of the cardiac medical procedure spectrum.
Yeah my MIL went through this a couple weeks ago, though she ended up not needing them. The stents are on the end of the surgical tool right by the camera that is checking your blood vessels (angioplasty? angiogram? whatever the procedure is called). Doc runs it through a big vein in your leg or your arm, depending on where they are looking, and if you need a stent, just inserts it right then and there.

Psychologically intense for sure, but way less physically intrusive than even a few years ago.

Winston > Smith
Shannon > Clayton
Knecht > Miller
Graza > Trayce
Edey > Clingan
Braden Smith had 313 assists last season, needs 133 more to surpass Cassius Winston's B10 assist record.

Illinois is the only program to have 3 of the top 10 career conference leaders - Bruce Douglas, Demtri McCamey, Dee Brown.
You contradicted your own argument. Winston over Smith is crazy.

Eh maybe when you look at the entire career since Smith got more minutes as a freshman but Winston was very very good and never got to be as ball dominant playing for Izzo as Smith was last year.

I think you could argue that Winston's junior year was just as impressive as Smith's. Winston was a better career 3pt shooter and slightly more efficient from 2 while actually having a higher career assist rate than Smith despite Smith putting up higher raw numbers.

I don't think it's really a reach to say Winston was better or even just a wash at that position.

Either way team 1 has nobody on the court that can guard Shannon and Clingan is a better defensive player than Edey and you don't really need him to score like Edey since you have Shannon, Knecht, Garza, and Winston. Just from a matchup perspective you either have Clayton trying to guard Shannon where he stands no chance or Knecht which is a mismatch either way.

Living in Springfield, Mo. with a daughter living in Mission, Ks., I am quite familiar with the Shawnee Mission School District (her adopted daughter attends Shawnee Mission North). Since Wagler's commitment, I have been interested in his progress. He is a fascinating prospect and is loaded with potential due to his athleticism. His contribution to the 25-26 Illini team is predicated on his desire to work and excel at B1G level. He seems to use his skills and athleticism to make his team better. Will he do just that at Illinois? We all hope so. Seems like he may be a Ty clone who can shoot. or at least in my imagination. Both he and Lee have been overlooked by Illini fans since they signed...and that can be a huge motivating factor.
