Illini mania
- we want to bring in all 5 stars like Duke
- we whine when they show their inexperience and leave for NBA in one year
- we complain when we bring in 3 star kids who might stay longer. If Duke does not want them then why do we?

I suspect Brad is focusing on kids who want to stay in program long term and will not transfer after just one year so they have time to develop. Everyday guys who are willing to pay their dues. Tomas is staying for year 2 and even brought in big Z. Kylan is staying for year 2. Jake and Ben are staying for year 2. JMO but I would not bring in anybody who has already transferred twice.

Illinois: “They’re almost at all my games. They might not know, but that sticks out to me and jumping on my recruiting early also means a lot to me. They were one of the first big schools to offer me. I’m definitely never going to forget that. They’ve been kind of around my school, watching other people like Davion [Thompson], obviously my brother JT. But ever since they saw me from watching Davion and JT, I caught their eye. They’ve been with me ever since.”

"He plans to take visits to Illinois and Penn State soon and is considering revisiting Michigan and Michigan State."

Apparently we are recruiting Marko Radunovic as a replacement for Ty. Or at the very least kicking the tires.
Why not just complete the Balkan set?

I agree. At my age, don't know if I'll still be around in 2028, but I'd sure love to see him in the orange and blue. Bolingbrook is close to C-U and we've had action with them in the past in various sports. His parents could easily see all his games. This is a guy we should keep at home.
