Very, very intriguing Week 0 game.

#20 vs #21 coaches poll teams.

I also think the Fresno State vs Kansas game will also be one that might be worth watching on Fox on Aug 23rd. Stanford visiting Hawaii might also be fun on CBS. For me, that is three Week 0 games worth watching.

My son's school vs. my mom's school...of course neither of them will give a whit but Mrs. Battle89 and I will enjoy in the same spirit as above.

Two of my wife's cousins went to Iowa State and another to K-State - these three are also siblings btw - and I work with a bunch of Iowa State grads. So, this will be a family/work affair for me. For this game, Go Cyclones!

Same. My wife's family is all from between Ames and Marshalltown basically. Plenty of Iowa St grads among them. I always joke that at least they're not Iowa fans or it makes the not have worked out between us. 😂.

Yep. Thank God they didn't redo the Nebraska vs Illinois game here. It would have been 80/20 Nebraska fans and Illinois fans would do nothing but !!!!! about it. Nebraska fans would have had a great time.

Assuming the same score I doubt they'd have a great time in the end.

My son will likely be a Cyclone next fall. Guess I better start looking at them as the non-Illini team I’ll follow.

And yes, first son went to Iowa. I couldn’t ever bring myself to go down that path for the Squawks.

Kansas D looks questionable...

Donelson???? On Fresno is a rocket speedster at RB. Won the Heisman for me in CFB25 when I was at Fresno....
