How do you mean? At what? Their respective games/present skill sets are very different from one another. I’m not saying you’re wrong. I just don’t know how you would define “better.”I think Morez has played closer to his ceiling than Z has throughout his college career. If we can unlock Z and he stays healthy he'll be better than Morez, but those are big ifs. Cal might've ruined him.
Based on overall stats last year… Morez and big Z played about the same minutes per game….I think Big Z had a slightly better composition of overall stats. If Morez can shoot some mid range jumpers and put the ball on the floor he becomes less than a one dimensional paint guy. I lean a little on the Big Z side for now. Especially at 259-260 lbs.How do you mean? At what? Their respective games/present skill sets are very different from one another. I’m not saying you’re wrong. One guy’s strong suit is shooting and passing and operating in screen androll/and pop…doing most of his damage facing the basket.
The other guy…whether he knows it or not is more that of a traditional BIG; that rebounds like he’s on fire.
Z’s obviously the kind of long range bomber that Morez wishes he was. So there’s that.
(Defensively they’ve both got more issues than a current events mag.)
This is all just my interpretation of present level of performance; of course.
So here's the numbers: per 25 minutes Morez averaged 9.9 points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.5 blocks.Based on overall stats last year… Morez and big Z played about the same minutes per game….I think Big Z had a slightly better composition of overall stats. Lets look at the entire year! 17-18 minutes! So here's the numbers: per 25 minutes Morez averaged 9.9 points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.5 blocks.
Zvonimir - 11.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.5 blocks.
They did not play the same # of minutes. That makes a huge difference when it comes to the stats; as the OP pointed out he averaged a DD per 25. If you had the choice, there's little to no reason to pick Z over Rez.Lets look at the entire year! 17-18 minutes!
I want to applaud Coach Tyler Underwood as the lead recruiter in the recruiting of Keaton Wagler. Great job to you and all the staff in recruiting and locating the talent that comes to our school.climb aboard, lol:

I hope Mr. Wagler gets a ton of minutes on the court this season as that means he is as good or better than the hype so far and that our team is playing exceptionally well and having a great W-L record........Let the cream come to the top and play the players that bring us the best chance for success.........jmho.....................Those highlights look like a Will Riley clone.

Can it or should it be said - Big Z can/will be better than Morez in the Underwood system? How do you mean? At what? Their respective games/present skill sets are very different from one another. I’m not saying you’re wrong. I just don’t know how you would define “better.”

Big Z is a better scorer and worse rebounder. What really matters for us is who defenses better at 4.So here's the numbers: per 25 minutes Morez averaged 9.9 points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.5 blocks.
Zvonimir - 11.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.5 blocks.
Washington has really improved that much? They were awful last year.
The teams we play twice are ranked 13, 15, and 16. Surely we won't lose to them this year, right?

We will be up 12 on Maryland in the second half only to lose in the final seconds. Sorry, I don't make the rules. The teams we play twice are ranked 13, 15, and 16. Surely we won't lose to them this year, right?
It’s Black Friday, so can we get a doorbuster deal-with Hurley’s face busting the door?OH BOY!
Can we get someone to punch this face?

Surely we won't lose to Maryland twice? Id almost expect to go 3-3 in a beat case scenario with how poorly the Illini have played against Maryland(maybe it's different with Willard gone but Buzz is a good coach), Northwestern always seems to steal one lately, and Hoiberg baffles our defense. The teams we play twice are ranked 13, 15, and 16. Clemson went 27-7 and was 18-2 in the ACC last year(got a 5 seed). They just happened to play one of the worst halves of basketball I've ever seen to start against mcneese before scoring 54 pts and nearly winning in the 2nd half.Last season - Florida lost to Georgia, Houston lost to SD State, Duke lost to Clemson, Alabama lost to Vanderbilt, MSU lost to Indiana & USC, Texas Tech lost to Saint Joseph's, UCF and TCU, Maryland lost to Washington and Northwestern, Michigan lost to Wake Forest and Minnesota.

SDSU, Vanderbilt, and Georgia were all tournament teams.
