It's basically a simulcast of the radio call. The PBP guy is really good and has been calling EIU football games for over 20 years (been calling EIU basketball for 37 years). The production value on ESPN+ is about as best as can be expected. Especially when you account for some of the EIU students being key parts of the production team.

Nebraska fans give off such Indiana Basketball vibes, though … maybe I’m biased having a lot of Iowa fan friends, but I find Nebby fans so annoying and almost vomit every time I hear others talk about how polite and welcoming they are and play right into their inflated image of themselves.

They believe they DESERVE to be good because of a run under a legendary coach that will never be replicated. Just as Indiana Basketball no longer has a ceiling, status or potential any better than Illinois Basketball, Nebraska Football no longer has any of that distinguishable from Iowa Football … no matter how much that fact would infuriate either of the two fan bases I mentioned that bitterly live in the past.

People all around the country salivate over IU basketball fans the same way they do over Nebraska football fans … and just as we know better on the basketball side of things, I think Iowa knows better when it comes to the real face of Nebraska football fans. They’re entitled and only nice/kind if you accept their delusional version of reality and kiss the ring.

Screw ‘em.

Duke is in a dogfight with Elon currently 10 - 10 at the half. They may be looking ahead to us next week.

My Nebraska alumn friends are generally cool.

Locals in my experience are wild and the broadcasters are way worse.

Cincy is out gaining NU 50 to 25 and NU, makes one TFL and the announcers have to talk about the blackshirts.

Apparently Duke has come out after halftime and said enough of this crap as they have taken control 31 - 17
