It wasn't "parked and walked" but when I was in HS back in the early 80's me and some friends walked from Centennial HS to a mid-September game. It was probably about an hour and ten minute trip, maybe longer, but we were having a great time being kids walking across town. Caught a bus back home though.

I walked regularly from FAR as a student down Florida Avenue, past the cemetery to get there. That's a short walk compared to the hike from Centennial, though.

Can the DIA please have a plethora of drones up in the sky taking pictures for this one?? We got a few great pictures from last year's KU and Michigan games, but it happens FAR too often that our social media will use some backdrop of Memorial Stadium from a game 2-3 years ago where we only had an attendance of like 45k.I cringe every time I see this photo reposted, lol.
And it's STILL the official photo for Memorial Stadium on the FightingIllini.com for some bewildering reason! Please, for the love of God, start using some of these!
I haven't seen any photos, but there was 100% a drone hovering either right over SFCAH, or just south of it during the last half of the Western Illinois game.
After the Geronimo Allison game against Nebraska I walked back to my apartment on Springfield a few blocks east of Prospect, not terrible.
I made that walk a couple years ago. That hill on St. Mary’s Road about did me in!
We had a 20 minute walk when the Bears played here in 2002. Ended up parking off of S Lincoln. It just so happened to be that abysmal Patriots game...
Western Michigan game is no longer sold out....???? A few hundred tickets just hit the website and are available across several sections:
Surely that has to be an error, right? They put out social media videos that it was a sellout. It would be embarrassing to do that and then sell more tickets. Bizarre.
They "sold" out because they "sold" bulk tickets to groups(my guess). Apparently those tickets can be returned. Not a bad option considering the alternative.
Those tickets will disappear (e.g. "sell") one way or another before game time.

Good point. I know they offered certain schools a certain amount for educators. Hard to believe they wouldn’t get taken to go see a top 10 team at night but
We won't waste that innovation on WMU, but I guarantee Indiana's already assuming our former QB of note could pass off the option. I'm looking forward to it. Give those DC's a nightmare.
Why not? Is how I see it.
Anything that causes Indiana to spend valuable time scouting and preparing for is a win. Especially, offensive sets that aren't our meat and potatoes (Run, pass, RPO, play action). Heck they will likely have to spend some practice time going over blocking/keys/assignments.
You really don't have a choice not too. Beatty has made good defenders miss in space. He's just running soo effortlessly with the ball, guy is in the groove.
Really hoping Trimble is seeing this and realizes he could be that dude if he sticks around a couple more years.
Unless of course you are physically disabled. I am. It affects every part of every day.
