Why not? Is how I see it.

Anything that causes Indiana to spend valuable time scouting and preparing for is a win. Especially, offensive sets that aren't our meat and potatoes (Run, pass, RPO, play action). Heck they will likely have to spend some practice time going over blocking/keys/assignments.

You really don't have a choice not too. Beatty has made good defenders miss in space. He's just running soo effortlessly with the ball, guy is in the groove.

Really hoping Trimble is seeing this and realizes he could be that dude if he sticks around a couple more years.
I don’t want to show a single wrinkle in a game against a below average MAC team. Leave IU guessing and unprepared.

My hunch is that we show wrinkles for Indiana to prepare for but then use wrinkle2 from the same set when Indiana shows it is prepared for wrinkle1. IOW, set them up and capitalize on it.

Like with Beatty in the wildcat formation. Do we all remember what position he played in high school?

Unless of course you are physically disabled. I am. It affects every part of every day.
Parking and the associated walking distance is unfortunately my #1 determiner in game attendance. It's not just an Illinois issue either, I've experienced it on road trips to games as well. Either the parking is insufficient, or too far away, or fills up very early since everyone and their mother now has a disabled placard to use.

My last road trip was to a basketball game in Madison and I got the very last disabled spot in the lot, the attendants literally closed the entrance with traffic sawhorses after I pulled in. And I am arriving 1-2 hours before game time, knowing if I don't I will get shut out completely.

It wasn't "parked and walked" but when I was in HS back in the early 80's me and some friends walked from Centennial HS to a mid-September game. It was probably about an hour and ten minute trip, maybe longer, but we were having a great time being kids walking across town. Caught a bus back home though.
I worked at the Service Liquor store across the street from the high school. They had a great marching band back then.

Beatty running wild cat WAS the wrinkle. Everyone already knows he played QB in high school. Hank in wildcat and throwing it would only show that as feasible and make the defense hesitant to cheat up and not respect the pass...

Looks like a good portion of the open seats are in the visitor's section, I wonder if WMU returned some of their allotment.

Would be great to have a fun, comfortable, confidence-building win coming off of the Duke victory. Sitting at 3-0 and feeling great about our abilities is essential to heading into Bloomington! Unlike some previous basketball teams of ours, I don't think this group needs a "wakeup call" or anything to stop us from being overconfident ... we need to keep building, and I want them feeling as confident as ever as we take on Indiana!!

I can't stop saying this--Beatty is the swiss army knife, lot of tools in the toolbox. I guess that's a silly mixed metaphor. Let's just say he's going to be a crucial part of this team.

If only we had that chase brown level tail back. I understand it’s a three headed monster, but the production’s been very inconsistent. Need to get back on track vs WMU and then Indiana.
