He’s had that title for a few years I’m pretty sure.I don't think this is new. He had that title last time I looked probably 5 months ago.
It's weird, in light of the recent Memorial Stadium naming, that this gets/got so little attention. Gies's name was quickly plastered everywhere while Richmond's seems to be kind of hidden. For example, when BU is introduced at home games, they don't call him the "Richmond Family Endowment Head Coach". Not apples to apples (different level of gift, a stadium vs a job title) but still interesting to see how the two names are treated differently. He’s had that title for a few years I’m pretty sure.
For the right price, I would be happy to call myself a Robeson’s Family Endowment Fighting Illini Fan. And for the record, my “right price” is fairly cheap. It's weird, in light of the recent Memorial Stadium naming, that this gets/got so little attention. Here’s what I’ll also say—and @Indy Illini Fan or @LvilleILL can correct me if I’m wrong—but I’ve been told by my source that Tyler and Hammer are the ones essentially running the program right now. Personally, I’m not thrilled about that, but that’s what I was told.
I was also told that Hammer said Keaton is a one-and-done player and could be one of, if not the best, players. Now, I don’t necessarily believe that—not because I doubt my source, but because I don’t trust Hammer’s ability to evaluate talent. He’s out here offering a bunch of 3-star guys, when, with our NIL support and program prestige, we should be targeting 4- and 5-star players.
I heard a rumor that Dan is shopping the rights to our user names. For the right price, I would be happy to call myself a Robeson’s Family Endowment Fighting Illini Fan. And for the record, my “right price” is fairly cheap.
ILNIL...I'm for it!I heard a rumor that Dan is shopping the rights to our user names.
I left him off because his title didn't change, he's above the rest so didn't think he was relevant.it lists OA as the associate head coach. not sure why the OP left that off
Huh that is true. They do list it in the records book when introducing him if that means anything. It's weird, in light of the recent Memorial Stadium naming, that this gets/got so little attention. I feel like it's difficult because they probably want to avoid weekends as much as possible when football's on because of bad ratings. This has come up before, but we've kinda gotten screwed on home weekend games. If I'm counting right we had 3 in '23, 5 in '24 and 4 in '25. Hope we get at least five this year.
do we return to the results of the early 2000's and go something like 15-1 at SFC?

I assume we're recruiting Reggie Bass again?lol some of you don’t even need to see bait, you just jump straight in the boat.
Don’t fillet yourselves.
While every big ten game is important, it sucks not having Purdue, Michigan St, Ohio State or UCLA at home. That's just bad for the fans. The Michigan is the best likely home gameDid Tony Pettiti ask Brad to make the schedule this year?
We basically play all of the good teams once, and most of the bad teams twice.
