This game stressed me the hell out and I wanted this SO BADLY, especially with the USC fans online being their usual insufferable selves, plus Matt Leinart being his usual annoying self. To their fans and to Matt Leinart:

Gosh, what a rollercoaster. In Luke we trust.

MVP of the game: O-Line.... Then Luke

Hate that we had to overcome so many stupid mistakes and penalties... and never feel good depending on that defense...

But a W's a W... Hail to the Orange guys and gals.. Ima be sippin something nice in celebration (Thinking Michters 10 or a store pick Weller 107)

I need some of y'all to pull up your big girl panties when watching games. If I sat through that at 35 weeks without losing it or going into labor, y'all can hold it together to watch a full 60 minutes of football before declaring us cooked

There’s legit 5 different things about this post to like.

Big girls
Panties
35 weeks (preggos)
Calling out grown a$$ men
Quitting on our beloved

I was worried about you, @IlliniKat91!!! :)
😉

Baby girl is still where she should be, and I'm celebrating being a game closer to bowl eligiblity.

There's still a lot to clean up, particularly on defense, but it always feels a lot better to teach off a tape of a game you won.

I'm proud that this team didn't quit after getting absolutely whupped in Bloomington. It's a mental toughness we didn't have a few years ago. Now, BB needs to make sure his staff keeps cleaning things up and gets us ready to go to Purdue. We're set up to get a confidence boost in that game if we do things right.

Seriously, cut the crap. USC has NFL playmakers all over their roster offensively. We have Jacas. That's it. Our corners are not only injured , but they don't belong on the same field as those USC receivers. Period.

He had those guys playing their damn hearts out. There's not much you can scheme in this type of situation.

Maybe it’s just me, but I thought it was USC making plays as much as it was our defense. I don’t know how many absolutely perfect balls their QB threw but it was a lot. Heckel was right there on the game tying TD, just a perfect back shoulder throw.

We can definitely play better on defense, but I also think a tip of the cap to USC is in order.

Gritty, gritty win.

That's what I'm talking about. Clutch clutch game by the entire offense and special teams. Hell of a response. Hell of a win. On national TV in the big Sunday game. Huge. We're 4-1, won 2 tough games. No letdown next week and you give yourself a shot at something special

I don’t know if it’s Henry’s issue. Heckel was there twice to make the play and didn’t. We missed a lot of tackles. Need to have better play out of linebackers and secondary. We had them 3rd and long at least twice and gave up floating passes for drive sustaining 1st downs. Ball security better be addressed also. 2!!! Touchdowns taken off the boards because of that. Game wouldn’t have been close.

This is not a program defining win. We've been doing this since start of last season, in 1 score games! LUKE!!!!!!
What is different. We did not let our no show up loss to Indiana destroy our season. That's defining. Good team we beat today.
