You can pretty much do whatever you want you just can’t be whatever you want. It's cute that you think scandals end political careers these days
And yet I find would little empathy for them, and I’m actually a fairly empathetic person.Imagine not only having to deal with the pressure of being "the ex coaches son", you also have to deal with trying to recruit, as your dad is on TV speaking or voting, in ways some recruits/handlers might take as racist or bigotry or whatever. Coaches jumping into politics is one thing, a son trying to fill his Dads shoes, as well as dealing with whatever/if any backlash and controversy, his dad may be causing, is something we don't see often. Should be interesting in today's world.
this guy pearl's. oh wait even that sounds like an insult just having his name in something. He has said he won’t go into politics, which means, of course, he absolutely will.
Yeah it seems that clutching your pearls should mean something entirely different now.this guy pearl's. oh wait even that sounds like an insult just having his name in something.
I have it on good authority that Pearl jam considered changing their name because of him....I talked them out of it.Yeah it seems that clutching your pearls should mean something entirely different now.
I generally use one of these GIFs, but you’re referring to my own post, so I’ll abstain. We need a haha reaction option
One horrible season ruins a program? Seven of thirteen seasons making the tourney is not bad. He may not of been great. but he hardly ruined the program.Like Ray Meyer and his son Joey who destroyed DePaul basketball.
Excluding his last year he had a 51% win % the 4 years prior. 40% win percentage his last 5 years. One horrible season ruins a program? Seven of thirteen seasons making the tourney is not bad. He may not of been great. but he hardly ruined the program.
The Drew family coaches. Scott being the most successful on a national scale.Yeah there’s not lot of examples but generally sons aren’t as good as the fathers. The exception being Tony Bennett was better than Dick Bennett.
Bob Knight > Pat Knight
Rick Pitino > Richard Pitino
Lon Kruger > Kevin Kruger
Am I missing anyone recent or famous?
Even just assistants inheriting major programs is spotty.
Scheyer worked out.
I think Hubert Davis has been mostly a failure
Kyle Neptune was a gigantic failure
