It makes the path harder, certainly, but I think back to that five game series we had with them at home. We lost the first one and I had resigned myself to us getting our butts beat. We took the next three. Fingers crossed that's what we're looking at here, too.

I left Wrigley after the third loss to Cleveland thinking I would never see a Cubs WS championship in my lifetime.
Going tomorrow. Hopefully I leave wishing I had gone Thursday to see them clinch.
Peralta is only Milw starter with an ERA under 4 against the Cubs this year. All the rest are over 5.50. Not over til it’s over.

Why did pitch framing go from a subtle way of the catcher holding his mitt when catching the ball to him catching the ball and then moving his mitt a foot and a half in the zone? How is that supposed to fool an ump?
