Other than ND by one point, has TAMU beaten a bowl team? I'm not sure they've proven enough to start buying them as a no doubt natty contender. Wouldn't necessarily hate LSU winning Saturday (they'll have four losses regardless with Bama and OU left on the road).

IMO the two elite teams are still OSU and Indiana. Maybe Bama is on the brink.

Bama will likely be in and will be a very tough out.

It kooks like ND will ghet a bid unless someone Kline Navy beats them. Then you have a spot for a Non Power $ team so we are basically fighting for 1 in 10 spots. So it could be broke down this way. 4 SEC teams, 3 Big Ten teams, then you will have teams from the ACC, Big 10 and Big 12 fighting for the other 4 spots. The best chance that we have is that the SEC beats themselves up and only 3 go.

Which does the committee value over the other between ACC or B12? So let's say GA Tech goes 12-1, loss being Georgia and TTU goes 12-1, loss being Arizona State... who gets the higher bid/seeding?

And MSU to knock off Michigan and Missouri to beat Vandy. If these all happen and we win, we might be back in the CFP talk.

The national folks have us very much in the coversation. We’re the ones who are casting the biggest doubts.

Its really only a few people. Unless your of the mindset a 3 loss Michigan will be rated above us (even at 10-2), really no idea why we need to be clinging to a 3-4 Michigan St team beating Michigan to be "back in the CFP talk." Lose tomorrow ourselves and we're out anyways.

Beating Washington should really be the one and only point of focus.

From my understanding, the mindset (that many here share) is that we're a three loss football team, the Indiana game counting as two.

Just not sure that's how this works ?

I believe we get in at 10-2 but that chart has 29 teams as favorites or contenders. They also have UCLA as eliminated and they should be alive or miracle. They can still get the Big Ten auto bid by winning out.

It is not going to happen as they have to win out and they still have to play both Indiana, Ohio State, and USC all on the road.
