Forgot about the one thing I don't miss with games being back is the "superfan"/coach at courtside.

What I see that I like most is something I have never seen from an Illini team. Guys 6'9" to 7"2" are handling the ball and passing it to others in a heart beat....and they all are draining threes from the arc.

Of course, the Flyin" Illini and the '05 Illini could do that....but they were all about 8 in. shorter!!!

Sure like what I am seeing from a team with supposedly 3 starters on the bench. Going to be a tough hill to climb to see minutes for all the talent. No one projects Jake to see much time but with his shooting skills and unselfish heads- up play....no one knows...not even BU!!

WE have one of the most interesting teams in America. Love this program, Mirk is going to be a star he’s just getting started. These 3’s won’t always be there, want to see how we attack the interior when that option is taken away by good perimeter D

He runs on his toes or something, I hate to say it but a bit reminiscent of Dickerson. But I DO NOT CARE because he is awesome in all other ways.

I’ve spent all night analyzing this at super slow-mo. He just takes shorter steps or strides than most. So his legs are moving faster and it just looks like he’s running harder for the same pace.
