Funniest Brad quote in a long time:

Q: "[About Jake Davis, minute 14:50] What characteristics do you think fans have become attracted to?"

BU: "I dunno, probably his dandruff"

Hahahaha Brad really has a disdain for the dew
Jake Davis probably:

Resident FGCU student and Illini fan checking in! Let’s eviscerate Pat Chambers and his poverty program! Can’t wait for AJ to show Brandon Dwyer what a real walk-on looks like instead of that mommy-and-daddy-pay-for-my-walk-on!
Pat Chambers?

I did not realize he was coaching FGCU. He gives me PTSD.

I think he has a winning record against Illinois. Maybe something like 12-9.

Man I really like this freshmen class. I was watching the Iowa State game again. Ty was a beast in that game. His defense and rebounding in tight games will be very welcome come tourney time.
Agree, but is there any word of him coming back anytime soon from the knee thing? Good not to see him on the "out for season" list but also very curious what the prognosis is on his return

I read that it is a partially torn patella tendon. Haven't experienced anyone that has had it so I have nothing to base a guess on.

There must be a backstory with him and a FGCU walk-on. lol

He's apparently a popular influencer although I haven't watched any of his content to know what he does.

Social media influencer and a complete tool. Not a good human being. Had a ā€œroad to 1 pointā€ challenge going on throughout his college basketball career. He’s a 5th year senior and just scored his first points (2 3’s) against New College of Florida who I believe is NAIA. If you’re an FGCU student you either love him or hate him. I’m obviously the latter.

MLT compared him to Jacob Grandison on the latest Illini Inquirer podcast which clicked as soon as I heard it. Shout out to MLT.
I get that comp. I also go back to Jack Ingram, who was just a solid role player on a very talented team. As Orangetool said, you gotta have those guys.

An employee of mine had this injury. Recovery is a long and painful process. His pain lingered for over 6 months. I am sure there are various degrees of "torn" and today's treatments and therapy will, hopefully, cut that time in half or less. Sure hope that is the case.
