IU is good . not great , but really good
but they are also very lucky
hard to really know if their luck can continue all season

And IU pulls it out of their nether regions. Ped State chokes defensively . . .

I’m thinking Mendoza just wrapped up a strong Heisman bid . . .

And I still despise Spignetti . . .

Someone got the Kurt Cignetti emotion chart?

Clockwise from top left: Happy, angry, suprised, confused.

Iowa couldn't ask for better (crappy, rainy) weather than this.. Perfect conditions for their ugly style of football.

Honestly might have been the greatest catch I’ve ever seen.
The actual catch wasn’t hard. The hard part was how he got a foot in bounds when it should have been easy for the defender to practically carry or push him out of bounds before he got a foot down

Watching IU make the playoffs two years in a row and have a Hesiman favorite sucks bad.

I can't believe I'm typing this, but I want Indinia to win the national championship. If it's basketball, I hope the Hoosiers lose every single game, without question. In football, I dislike all the teams with a realistic shot at the title; might as well go for the team from the B1G with the least amount of built-up resentment. Now, will I regret this if it actually comes to pass? Almost certainly lol.

Same.

Objectively, I like Cignetti and I enjoy what he's done for a doormat of a program. However, in a practical sense, it bothers me both because their ascendancy has skyrocketed past us, but even moreso because IU fans are happy about something.

Indiana went outside the box and picked a very very successful lower level coach to take over after the 2023 season. Illinois picked a good but a retread coach in BB after the 2020 season.
