Hopefully NW gets their 6th win against a minny and doesn't come into our game desperate. They are plucky
It's in our best interest for NE ti beat Minnesota. Them being desperate won't really matter much because it is out last home game and could be a chance to clinch an elite bowl game/keep two win season alive.

Wild that they could have had a historic night game at Wrigley with two teams looking to beef up their bowl resumes but shoved it in the 11AMCT slot over us playing against Wisconsin.

SEC teams were 0-286 when having a 27+ point deficit dating back to 2014. South Carolina blows it up 30-3 at half. Cannot get worse.

Herbstreit going to have a busy travel weekend. He'll call the Thursday Night Football game in Houston tomorrow night. He'll then be part of Gameday in Eugene on Saturday morning though I'm guessing he may leave the show early like he did earlier this season when the show was there as he and Fowler are set to be in Gainesville on Saturday night for Tennessee/Florida.

Nope

Eastern Illinois will receive a guaranteed payout of
$560,000 from Alabama for the football game scheduled for November 22, 2025. This payment is part of the contract for the FCS team to play the SEC team.
ugh

I thought the price for these games had gone up to 750-800,000

what'd he say? link?
Basically that they're an "average" team that should not be ranked. There's lots of "bad football" in the current state of college football if they're a T25 team.

Just something you probably shouldn't say at a press conference.

My heavens FSU is bad. They are playing for bowl eligibility against a really bad NC State team. They are down 11-14. They stop NC State. Then, one of the FSU special teams players allows the punt to hit them and NC State recovers. FSU's defense stops them again. This time the FSU returner muffs the punt. You just can't make this stuff up. A demoralized, poorly coached team will always find ways to lose.
