1-1 against Tech and Bama without our arguably best player and the loss coming due to free throws isn't the worst outcome. Need Tomi to get healthy though because Z is not his brother.

Did they talk about Illinois at all? Did they mention the injury context? Alabama wore down Illinois (who came back at the end) with a fully injured front court?

All of this pales in comparison to a quote from the first half: “With Alabama You see the score and they’re just down four. That’s just a couple of possessions for them”

Going away from a zone that was working is definitely a coaching decision. Not saying this is 100% on coach but this team isn’t going to be able to defend the way Brad wants them too. Just not fast enough. Have to play zone about 50% of the time.

Let’s see how this looks after Tomi, Dre and Petro get to practice with the rest of the squad for a couple weeks.

My disappointment is with Z. He really did nothing well. His defense is absolutely atrocious. If we continue to play big, we simply can't guard the perimeter.
