Lol, I’m back at my parents’ (with my wife and almost-2 Little Fighter) with my quite old grandma, and I made a conscious effort not to check my phone. A bunch of food and 8 glasses of wine later, I checked Instagram and saw this post and - I’m not exaggerating whatsoever - my jaw dropped.

These just look flat-out perfect.

They are perfect. There really could be 6 perfect uniforms. All 3 colors with script Illinois and all 3 colors with Fighting Illini.

Now Fighter of the Nightman what are your thoughts of a new wood floor design? I think the center court should be what is behind Andrej. Baseline and sideline out of bounds all blue and the paint orange, top of the circle blue or vice versa. Give me University of Illinois on one baseline out of bounds and Fighting Illini on the other.

Serious question...

Does anyone actually prefer the 1LL1INOIS? There just HAS to be a binding contractual agreement to wear these things...

Yeah, I'm all for supporting our players, but those NIL store jerseys are terrible quality. They look so, so cheap.

Curious to see the Share of Games (SOG™️) for each jersey. Ie how often each is worn and if our orange Fighting Illini jerseys are still in the rotation.

Navy Fighting Illini = Personal favorite
White Script = Probably still the best single jersey
Fighting Illini set = Has to be one of the best sets in cb. But will we deploy all 3 colors?

I think it's interesting that the navy FI's are being sold by Nike in retail. Perhaps wishful thinking, but that makes me believe these could be our default away jerseys.

Also interesting that our last three "home" games (including the UC) have been white script, orange script, orange default. The orange defaults at home for a random buy game makes me think either:

A) we're going to lean more into orange at home this year or..
B) We've retired the white defaults and a new white jersey will be announced soon to serve as our default home jersey.

I know what he has stated…… but…… I don’t believe him. There are around 30 people on that bench EVERY game that are dressed EXACTLY the same. There has to be some level of care.
