I think it feels great! We’ve come a long way where an 8-4 season doesn’t feel great. Keep stringing together winning seasons and one of these will really come good.
Offense did everything they could to give it away.
Serious question... who was calling the defense? There were turnovers, there were pressure, there were sacks... things we haven't seen in forever.
Tied with most wins in schools history in back-to-back seasons (18)
First back-to-back winning seasons in Big Ten league play since 1992-93
Fire Henry and fire Miller despite getting commitments from the #1 JC DB in the country and a top 3 JC O-Lineman in the country......good luck with that.8-4- as a lifelong Illinois fan- I'll gladly take it- but man-somehow it doesn't have the sparkle you'd think it would..
Use that $ to build up our team- fire Henry-fire Miller- and improve our coaching in those two areas.
Go Illini
Oh and thank you Luke!
how about a victory cigar?I don't even smoke and I think I need a cigarette.
Or maybe barf.
I'm glad they held on. And 8-4 is about what I figured at the start. But I thought the floor was 7-5 and that felt pretty achievable all game long.
Kudos to Miles Scott. That was an outstanding effort and I'm so glad it held up.
