It's amazing really. With these two years of Cignetti this is easily the single greatest coaching job I've ever seen. Got to give it to Indiana at that.

They had an absolutely perfect storm of both the coaching selection plus all these different new rules, etc. and they've absolutely took advantage.

If I'm an Indiana fan, I'd *almost* prefer that field goal go in to force my team to be aggressive on O and go get a tuddy. Instead of 3 runs up the gut and a possible punt.

It’s rare, but it was the right call. I went to the NCAA rule book. In Rule 9, it explicitly states defenders cannot “block” below the waist. They can only engage the ballcarrier below the waist.

On a side note, holy smokes is the football rule book long and complicated. It’s over 260 pages!!

Congrats to IU. I think these two teams will rematch in the playoffs. I wouldn’t count Ohio State out. Last year they put up a stinker vs Michigan then steamrolled.

IU is gonna have lot of pressure on them. Only remaining undefeated team left.

With 20 seconds remaining why not run the punter to the back of the endzone and take the safety? Just burn the clock.

1) Because if the punter doesn’t get to the end zone before being tackled, OSU can win the game.

2) Even if there is a safety, a big return on the free kick can set up a field goal to win. (Yes,
I remember the duck hook).
