True. But, not while I'm watching the Illini.Come on man, we need more celebrities like him; telling kids not to do drugs, showing them that they can turn their life around, valuing giving back to your community, etc

Petro is struggling. I am sure BU has every right to give it to him, so to speak. Petro showing fire and passion against BU should be shown on the damn court! I believe he can contribute. If that's his attitude, though, then let's give Brandon Lee a chance, and let Petro think about it.FYI, whatever it’s worth, Mihalo and Brad got into it. So much to the point OA had to separate them and OA got in Mihalo’s face. Mihalo understood he was in the wrong. He and OA were cool but Mihalo did not go back into the game after that.
Bingo! +10. I wholeheartedly agree with this. It’s really not complicated, man, we were really soft vs. UConn and weren’t tonight … and fans’ rightful frustration is that we should ALWAYS play with toughness no matter how well we’re shooting, because this team has such great potential!
0 turnovers from 4-6 on avg is a big difference in a game. I think KJ turnovers were huge in a lot of our losses last yr. I like Wagler as a player much better than KJ.Very encouraging. 2 things jump out to me. Tomi brought his A game, maybe because he is fully healthy. And only 6 TOs with 7 fewer TOs than UT. In last years game we had 7 more TOs than UT. Wagler takes better care of the ball than KJ did.
Tomi can't failOnly acceptable answer is so that you can have the greatest album cover in rock history

Me neither, I have a 3" vertical LOL
I would rather Petro and Underwood figure this out without a multi game benching like Tre White last year. Petro could be a huge part of this team later this year and next. Had very unique skills.Petro is struggling. I am sure BU has every right to give it to him, so to speak. Petro showing fire and passion against BU should be shown on the damn court! Agreed. In the meantime, while he's being benched, let's see what Brandon Lee can do. I also do think Petro can be a big part of this team.I would rather Petro and Underwood figure this out without a multi game benching like Tre White last year. Ah ha! Like I said above, I knew alcohol had to be a factorIn terms of atmosphere - I agree with this being a game where Illini fans that went really wanted to be there. Thankfully we have a large group of old money season ticket holders that help support the program but they aren’t typically the crowd that takes the roof off the building. From where I was sitting we were loud, proud and just off of an 8 hour stay on Broadway! Easily the most inebriated basketball game I’ve ever seen! ILL - INI lasted long into the after game festivities as well.
Get better, Pru.No.....I had a stroke on Sat 11-22 and have been in ICU for 6 days and now in rehab therapy for at least 2 more weeks or longer depending on how it goes...
They are treating me wonderfully here.....they really are....

Petro is so unique to this team he could be an X factor down the line, if not more consistently.Agreed. In the meantime, while he's being benched, let's see what Brandon Lee can do. I also do think Petro can be a big part of this team.
Hope you are healing well! Please feel free to post your NLs, Walken, Rooks as much as you need for a speedy recovery!No.....I had a stroke on Sat 11-22 and have been in ICU for 6 days and now in rehab therapy for at least 2 more weeks or longer depending on how it goes...

Some of that was due to bad calls by the refs. Twice in the first half he came in, made a nice, clean, block and got called for the foul.Big Z only got 9 minutes...still not 100% ?
Heavenly Father, we come to you today with heavy hearts, lifting up Pru who has suffered from this stroke and currently in a Paducah hospital.No.....I had a stroke on Sat 11-22 and have been in ICU for 6 days and now in rehab therapy for at least 2 more weeks or longer depending on how it goes...

found it again haha:Great game. Tennessee looked worn out by Illinois's size in the second half after holding on with rebounding in the first. Tomi looked great. Humrichous didn't shoot and made some great plays. The UConn game was a turning point for the Illini and Tomi.
Did anyone see the reel of Tomi smashing the guitar trophy and Underwood and Andrej looking horrified? I can't find it now -- I'm wondering if they decided it was too disrespectful and took it down.

Agreed. The first foul call Big Z picked up was understandable as he was in bad position, even though his play was clean. That was an anticipation foul rather than a contact foul. The second foul call on him was absolutely inexplicable. As clean a block as it gets, no contact and good position. Plus, in that 1st half the refs were letting players beat and hack the hell out of each other no foul. But once he picked up 2 in really short minutes, gotta sit him. Really good on Big Z to mentally come out playing the way he did in the 2nd Half. 2 gigantic threes and a decent job inside. Those back to back threes were basically ballgame. He's a key part of this team. Some of that was due to bad calls by the refs. Twice in the first half he came in, made a nice, clean, block and got called for the foul.
Great to hear from you Pru. Praying you get better soonThank you my Illini brother for your kind words...my love for all things orange and blue is well known and gets stronger every day....
LET'S GO ILLINI!!!!!
Good grief, he was at two major programs before us. How does that happen?Did anyone else catch the commentary near the end of the game about how Z came into Illinois with one leg like 30% stronger than the other? (this is due to an ongoing issue he has been dealing with for a few years now after a knee surgery)
Training staff addressed that and it is down to 8% difference now.
