I don't disagree with any of this...obviously Feagin was responsible for multiple as well..

Was Dylan Raoila responsible for any sacks ???
That's not just a Luke Altmeyer thing...
Of course, I’m sure Raoila is responsible for a portion of his sacks too. You brought up sacks as a reason to fire Bart Miller, and I was simply pointing out that sacks are a QB stat too.

Btw, according to TeamRankings, Nebraska had a higher sack percentage than Illinois this year. And that’s with (5) 4 stars on their offensive line to Illinois’ 0 and a QB in Altmyer that had the highest sack responsibility rate of any QB in the B1G.

Right....but Raiola took 9 sacks in one game vs Minnesota... terrible for sure.

3 of them were on Raiola...so it's not just a Luke thing is what I'm saying. (Obv Dylan got hurt and missed time so it's not an easy 1 vs 1 situation).

I also don't know where that site got the 23 sacks #. We allowed 31.

My first thought was the former Celtics coach. His kid probably still has nightmares about Kevin Hardy guessing his audibles correctly in Iowa City.

I don't understand why Toledo isn't promoting Keres to HC. He had a 95-6 W/L record at Mt. Union and his work as DC at Toledo is earning a promotion to DC at PSU.

Harry Hiestand just retired as offensive line coach of ND. He is 67 years old. Maybe Bret can get him to coach our offensive line for a few years?

From 1997 to 1999, Hiestand served as offensive line coach in Ron Turner's system at the University of Illinois, where he was also assistant head coach from 2000 until his departure. Hiestand coached All-Big Ten selections on the offensive line. In 2002, Illinois marched out one of the nation's most balanced offensive attacks thanks in large part to Hiestand's offensive front. Illinois topped 5,300 yards in total offense for the first time in school history and running back Antoineo Harris broke the Illinois single season rushing record with 1,330 yards in the season. Seniors Tony Pashos and David Diehl each earned All-Big Ten accolades, and were fifth-round picks in the 2003 NFL draft.
