Early indications are that the staff is leaning toward starting a walk-on from the local Champaign-Urbana area.

Man, I am usually a supporter of an outline on the number for uniforms, but for some reason this just looks a lot cheaper than its previous iteration with no outline...

Good point but 2026 this will be like his 7th year. I remember how Big 10 screwed Dave Wilson. Wilson played at a junior college and transferred to Illinois and he was only allowed to play one year.

Nate Marshall is what separates us from being a top three or four team in conference

That was a big loss on the recruiting trail and one of several that directly could've impacted this year as a good team to a CFP contender. Definitely would be a great win the second time around if it comes about that way.
