Maybe other teams are also inconsistent. Maybe other teams also have trouble getting energized for some games or have off nights.
When the Illini do that itâs because Underwood sucks and Hoiberg is way better, the team is soft, etc. etc. But when another team like Nebraska has an off night itâs because the 309th ranked defense is better than Illinoisâ.

The current ****storm raining down upon Cooley's head clearly couldn't be happening to a nicer, more upstanding fellow. Hey, it takes a bull**** coach to attempt to project his own bull****tyness onto a program he's jealous of.
I mean, I think he was trying to chuck it higher into the crowd, but what an all-time miss. Or maybe he was just trying to be Jonathan Moxon.

Itâs so funny, as Iâve said multiple times;
1) The team isnât getting anything in transition and I think thatâs an underwood mistake that puts too much stress in the halfcourt
2) Tomi is nowhere close to what he was last year
3) Defensively they arenât aggressive in the end of shot clock
4) we donât create turnovers.
Thereâs quite a few more, but this all within like the last week. But pushing back on shotmaking when ND is awful at defense compared to us means I hate all things critical? Please.
Basketball really is about makes and misses sometimes.

No, people were actually looking at things like their Ken Pom ratings which were dropping.
Glad for us that they perhaps have turned the corner.
