1st comment made me chuckle. This forum is attrocious and a tough read, but funny none the less.

I was in the pep band in some dark years, with Quin Snyder their coach. I'll never forget, upon losing, the absolute hate we all received from everyone in the Kiel Center. From the fans it was to be expected, but everyone in the venue was equally spiteful: the ushers; the tunnel lackey, in an ill-fitting suit, working in the bowels of the arena; even the uniformed St Louis law enforcement working security. A miserable lot, all gloating over their ephemeral superiority. Those experiences made every subsequent Braggin' Rights a personal affair. A tip of the cap to this year's team for giving me quite the dose of holiday cheer.

My wife and I watched our first Bragging Rights game together 20 years ago today, which was the previous worst beatdown in the series. We watched at a tiny bar in a small town in Missouri on our way to see her parents in Branson, and it was awesome. Her birthday is today, and Bragging Rights has been part of her birthday celebration ever since. Thankfully her parents are now in CU, and I don't ever have to go to Branson again, lol!
