Let me add an extremely important one....Big Z got to play some serious minutes. Huge adjustments by Coach U. Big Z's emotion and length/height are a difference maker. I like Tomi, but he hasn't been on top of his game. Big Z needs to play more. He's a disrupter since we don't have a monster junk yard dog in the paint. But really love his emotion and hustle. He needs to keep playing big minutes. Take the pressure off Tomi just like Wagler takes the pressure off Boz and this team can make a deep run.

Missouri did not bring their A game, but that was an impressive win nonetheless.

It looked like a different defensive team compared to Nebraska. What changed over the week? Was it just better effort and intensity? Or were there defensive scheme adjustments? Does anyone have any insight?

Just walked in the back door after the drive home to my wife making her annual batch of homemade Irish cream liquor. Will go in mason jars and handed out to family… but yeah, let me try that and see if it’s any good lol

Missouri is bad and had two starters out, Vegas really said hold my beer it’s a single digit spread

I wouldn’t have predicted this onslaught anyhow though, we haven’t found consistency on defense and they really needed this one to call their non conference slate successful

Defense was suffocating at times, but hard to judge vs a team that gave up shortly after halftime

Tomi seems to play better in 2nd halves and Z really seems like a “set the tone” type of player, I’ll admit the thought of Z starting games is intriguing

Loved Ben spamming 3 point shots in the last 90 seconds while we’re up 40 as the last handful of Misery fans filed out lol

Edit: Team seems to play well when there’s a trophy on the line… whether it makes it home in one piece or not 🤷‍♂️

Couldn’t agree more … It’s about showing up mentally f’ing ready … Every game … Not just every other game …

Be an EDG … Every loose ball is ours … Set the f’ing tone from the tip … Lock in defensively … Crash the flippin glass …

If we do those little things … The shots will fall enough where we will win most of, if not all of our games …
