Kittner will always be my number 1 unless we get to the promised land. But Luke is number 2 now. Great player and great leader.
What growth from that kid, will never forget watching him in the O&B - hope he gets a shot in the NFL.

Luke often talks about how blessed he is to be here, for his teammates, etc, but we we we're truly blessed to have him. Amazing qb and person.

The perfect QB1 at the right time for this program......as our program grew so did Luke...........combined good coaching
and Luke's dedication to get better has resulted in the Illini's best ever 2 consecutive season record ever....

A quick but important note to consider that adds to Luke’s legacy:
His first game starting in 2023: leads us down the field to set up a game winning FG at the end.

Thank you Luke for both your ability and loyalty. You helped bring Illini football back to relevance. You showed everyone what winning is all about and even put the whole team on your shoulders at times to get us to the finish line. You will be missed but never forgotten. Leaving as one of the all time greats in Illini football history.
Absolute legend. Hope Illini nation doesn't ever let this man pay for a drink in the state of Illinois....or anywhere else for that matter.
