At least 3 of the 6 teams with byes were underdogs and 2 of the 6 were big underdogs. If teams with a Bye go 0 for 6 I think it's safe to say it's not even worth winning your conference championships and going like a month without playing.

I’ll be over the moon if he’s 70% of that!!Let's hope Nick Hankins Jr is like Brandon Finney Jr
They look like a bunch of guys who met on a playground for the first time today and formed a team.Texas Tech's offense has been Brian Ferentz level booty cheeks but there are only down 13!
Go to 16 teams and no byes.My two cents: The teams that earned a bye in the current format are about to be 0-6. These are not bad football teams. Being off from game action for a month leads to rust, and that’s what we’re seeing. Probably needs to be addressed going forward or you’ll continue to see awful football from the top 4 seeds.
yep.. I'm wanting a 16 team CFP with no Bye's and top 8 get a home game round 1.I'm starting to think getting a bye and not playing for a month might not be an advantage.
If I got to choose, I'd go home games rounds 1 and 2, move the start a week earlier (so round 1 is 2 weeks after season end instead of 3), so semifinal games would be today and championship next week (or the following Monday if you want to keep it on a Monday night to prevent conflicts with NFL). Then it's over about the same time as other NCAA divisions, a top 4 seed means potentially 2 additional home games, and nobody gets too rusty (while still getting a week off for healing up).yep.. That will happen. Possibly as soon as next year.Go to 16 teams and no byes.
Not sure I would want 2 rounds of home games. I doubt it would happen anyways because right now the Quarters and Semi's are Bowl games. I would be surprised if they would want to get rid of those Bowl's as part of the CFP.If I got to choose, I'd go home games rounds 1 and 2, move the start a week earlier (so round 1 is 2 weeks after season end instead of 3), so semifinal games would be today and championship next week (or the following Monday if you want to keep it on a Monday night to prevent conflicts with NFL). I’d love that especially two rounds on college campusesactually hope IU breaks the streak. expect a change this offseason re: byes. 16 teams, no byes, top 8 seeds host first round, higher seed hosts second round
Oregon will be absolutely jacked to go against Indiana again. Did they take them lightly until it was too late last time? It’s crazy how many people still think Oregon is soft. Clueless.
I’m good with IU losing by 100 honestlyOkay Indiana, time to break the bye game curse. Last thing I want is the SEC beating the Big Ten champs.
