Changing QB mid game is not a good idea. Alabama getting desperate..

So we take AJ simpson or Mack as our QB for next year?

These games are so much better to watch knowing we’ve won 19 games a two bowl games the past two years.

We have a program, and if we continue to build and the playoff goes to 16 teams, we have a shot to make it every few years, maybe even more.
To be honest, I had reached a point pre-BB where I stopped watching other games. I tuned in for select bowl games and the NC, but otherwise, nowhere near as much as I watch now

I watched the Illini when possible, of course.

Me too, but I even stopped worrying about some of our games too. We were at a point where many games we just couldn’t compete and they were awful to watch. I’ve been watching since pre-Mike White and never thought I’d miss games, but I seriously would stop paying attention when we are so bad.

It’s great to see us well-coached, competitive, and winning games consistently, and makes all of these games fun to watch again.

Watching playoffs, one thing that I have noticed. These teams tackle very well. The Texas Tech/Oregon game, was amazing, until TT got tired.

likewise

what impresses me about Indiana is the discipline . very very few penalties.

can’t wait to see Finebaum spin this tomorrow.

Having watched IU quite a bit this season, they just never seem to put themselves in a really bad situation. They don’t commit pre-snap penalties. They don’t commit holding penalties on first down to make it 1st and 20. They don’t commit stupid dead ball penalties.

They are simply a disciplined, well-drilled, and efficient football team. The margin of error is a lot higher when you don’t step on your own feet.
Umm...I've seen a lot of holding by the Indiana linemen...refs seem to have been told to "let em play."

I remember everybody freaking out about how horrible Illinois must be for losing a Saturday night game to Indiana on their field. Sure they got blown out and you never want that to happen but watching Indiana do this to Alabama on a neutral field makes that game a bit more understandable.
