That'd be too much, especially with the receivers we have returning. Hank had 70 catches for 864 yards. Diaz had 811 yards in the Southland Conf.

Very possibly he can be that guy down the road, but for next year, I'd expect around 400-500 (which would be awesome) as opposed to 800.

Dixon and Clement will undoubtedly be the alphas.
We sure he's starting over Trimble?

With our “veteran”defensive front 7 hitting the portal, are we changing schemes? Changing…coordinator?

Our current sell for slot receivers especially, is just on a whole new level.
How is that? Our current sell doesn't even include a QB yet.

I'm very optimistic. But people should not understate the challenge this year. Players are committing to a major rebuild. Great staff, but for some players they'll be looking for more certainty in their supporting cast.

What is our football budget for players compared to other Big Ten schools. My guess O$U, Oregon,PSU, and scUM but I am not sure how big of a gap there is to us

Neal isn't gonna make the League. going for the bag. guessing our offer left him wanting (more, lol)

here's where Warren leaving hurts
Not sure what bag he thinks he can get. He mostly got bullied any time he was in. I was very disappointed at his lack of field strength

yes, but gotta have legit backups
I’m worried we’re gonna try the juco/small school thing again and it’s gonna not work out. We’ve had a low hit rate on non P4 players and smaller school dudes. Our best transfers have been players coming from other P4 schools.

Luke, Tomi, Calvin Hart, Alec Bryant, Devito, Terah Edward, Briggs, Franklin, Lowry, Neal, Clement, Thompson, Crimmins.

Could the Denzels also be this? (Visited today)

Isaiah Adams, Roderick Perry, Tanner Arkin, Zakhari Franklin (I’m counting him as UTSA), and Melvin Priestly would all like a word

Let’s be real Franklin came from Ole Miss but it was really UTSA……, Torrie Cox, JC, Melvin, Knapik all other small school guys

Perry played for Lovie. Adams, Melvin and arkin were nice finds. Franklin played at ole Miss. But you named 3 or 4 hits in 5 years? That’s not very good lol… much much bigger rate of return at the P4 level for us

Not bad finds. But we’re talking 5 or 6 hits in 5 years. 15ish productive players in that span have come from the P4 level. I’d rather take swings there given the results

many of the starters at G5 schools can compete quite well at the P4 level . the problems the teams hsve playing the bigger schools is they don’t hsve second string & rotation players thst match up & by the second half (or second qtr ) , the starters run outta gas & the larger schools take over .

there are often lots of diamonds in the rough to be found in the G4. fully 15% of the players who announce their colleges at the beginnings of nfl games are naming G4 schools
