Every game where Mirk takes an elbow rockin' to the noggin', he starts playing with a controlled fury that is awesome to witness. Must have watched a lot of Rocky movies as a boy the way he gets up off the floor and doubles down on his effort.

When I first saw Petro's highlights, I felt like it was mostly 2 on 2 with one defender on crutches. He is not great in tight situations and he cannot do much on defense to add to the team. And Fly Illini is correct. There is no evidence of his being a plus shooter. That would be a tremendous boost to his minutes if he could shoot 40% from the arc and make over half of his layup attempts.

I've seen a few of their games this season and it's been similar. I'm not sure if it's that they're dirty so much as it is that they just don't have the talent to compete and need to much it up to have a chance.

I continue to be impressed with our fly by and rear view contests, Andrej and Keaton in particular really bother shooters with their length to get a distracting hand in their vision

I apologize in advance for this question as I have not watched a single second of the game, but I just checked the box score and noticed that big Z has only played one minute. Is something wrong with big z?
