I get it. It's just that we've watched teams like MSU play like that for years with lots of success. They should be common fouls unless their is obvious intent to hurt a dude.

That's just not there with most of these calls. And I'm totally ok with some hard fouls to deliver a message.

Andrej showed up tonight hard on both ends. Really stepped up to fill the void and played entirely within the framework of the team and offense. Incredible game. Now he needs to do it consistently

I agree with that, the problem is "intent" 1/2 of the teams fan base will be pissed with either call so the rules committee copped out, took the decision making out of the officials hands and it's just letter of the law.
