With NBA Europe looking likely on the horizon, I think we need to enjoy the type of international talent we're currently getting. We will probably still get some internationals but I dont think near the caliber of what we're currently getting.
NBA Europe is going to have the financial backing that dwarfs what's currently in Europe.

Anyone got anything on Jaxson Davis front…? Read somewhere there’s a chance he could transfer out of state after this year… How in are we on him? Feels like we aren’t all in. Size an issue? Another Euro lead guard lined up?
I'm not sure that's true. It really just looks like a modified EuroLeague, under a different organization's banner. There's even a process by which some teams are permanent, but others will gain admission by being successful in their domestic leagues, as with the current EuroLeague. In the end, like the EuroLeague, they're going to be in it to make money and they're not going to spend more on player salaries than makes sense given revenues. So unless EuroLeague has been more financially successful that we knew with hoarding profits while players get a raw deal, or unless there was a bigger market for European basketball that the EuroLeague somehow failed to tap into, I'm not sure it'll be a huge game changer. To significantly increase revenue and thereby increase salaries, I would think they'd need to tap heavily into either the American or Chinese markets. I'm not sure I see how they'd do that, and am not sure the NBA is interested in cannibalizing the dominance it already holds in those markets. I think the NBA just wants to tap into the already-existing EuroLeague business (and also use it to cross-promote their main product, the NBA), not necessarily fundamentally improve or alter it.

And imagine if he grows a couple more inches. He almost comes off as a poor man's Cooper Flagg, with the energy and the level of fierceness he plays. Combined with the shooting touch and ball handling, it's easy to imagine he could see a sizemic jump in his ranking over the next 12 months.
I have heard if Michigan State offers, he will go there. As of now, he would go to the beloved. Not sure how accurate this is but this is the rumor that I have been hearing.

Highlights from that Neuqua Valley and Bolingbrook game from Saturday. Martin is a great shooter and Cole Kelly is just so damn smooth, especially for his age.

Looks like he has visits to Michigan and Purdue with another potentially to Iowa
Not a great look if he visits three Big Ten schools and we aren't one of them? Seems odd.

I know today’s recruiting landscape is far different than it used to be and player development might not be as important today as NIL funding.
But, I have to imagine these last few years help.
3 one-and-dones in two years.
4 draft picks in three years.
Including an unranked recruit who goes in the lottery.
Brad and staff are making a case to be one of the best talent developers in the country, which ideally begins to attract an even higher level of player (not that Brad’s ever struggled with recruiting, but there’s probably one extra level we could get to).
Plus, we run an NBA style offense that prepares guys for the league. Have to imagine all of that will be pay dividends moving forward, especially if Keaton ends up a top 10 pick.
But, I have to imagine these last few years help.

kid's got it going on:
Ethan Brown and Rolla rolled into St Louis and took on solid perennial private school giant DeSmet tonight. DeSmet a historically power program in the St Louis metro area having a very good year at 14-2 (ranked in top 5 of all of Missouri in Class 6).
Even though Rolla lost by 12, Brown stood out. Led all scorers with 26 and dished out 8 assists. More impressed with his ball distribution. But the dude can score in multiple ways. Wagler part 2?

Wagler is a unicorn. comps to him are pretty unfair to preps. that said, ample reason to be high on Brown. I think he's destined to be an impact player, the only question is when
True. My comparison is that Brown is a bit under the radar like Wagler. Heck, Mizzou, like KU, missed a kid literally in their backyards.
