Exactly. We make those front ends and others we woukd be up 12 or more and thats a huge reason our boys have been winning. When they get foul it is usually 2 pts. Vs Bama they missed and we lost. Lets make our free throws.

Could our slow starts be because our offense is more reactionary? In his interview, Tyler basically said the offense adapts to what the defense throws at them and then they hunt for matchups. Wouldn't that take several minutes to figure out?

That’s been the plan all along, defense was doing a great job at making Washington settle for jumpers. Unfortunately, bad offensive possessions led to defensive let downs.
That was a wet burrito of a first half - sloppy. But we're still up 7 and we've seemed to always make good halftime adjustments this season. Last year, the scores would be reversed with how we've played so far, so I'll take it! Let's come out hot in the first 4 of the 2nd half to demoralize 'em, boys!

Feels like a game to get mihailo or lee some tick, offense looks stagnant with Keaton getting hounded. Save his legs!
Not sure they "suck" on offense, but UW sure is shooting poorly. Our height on the perimeter may have an effect? And watching our guys work over the top of screeners, I really like the effort and the effectiveness at staying on their tail and thwarting their desire to shoot with a defensive hand on their head.

The only thing that worries me right now is how many minutes Wagler will have to play. But I think the offensive problems aren't going to continue for long.

Disagree tonight. I thought we switched and hedged well most of the half. Shot clock violation, a few blocks and steals, forced them into shots they didn’t want to take.
They hit some tough shots towards the end and we let them get behind us a couple times but can’t be mad at 26 points allowed

Where are you coming up with this tired legs stuff? We haven't played since Saturday, it's the first half and the game has absolutely no pace. Turnovers, fouls, more turnovers.....stop, start, stop.
I am gonna bust out my Lucky Domask jersey! God i loved his old school YMCA game . What id give to have him until Kylan is back. Relatively speaking, no one lujes guarding guys like Marcus Domask and TSJ. Mirk has a lil of that.

Think I’m going to stay away from the game threads from now on. Every single time we miss open shots a lot of people end up making the worst takes ever. Were up 7 & shooting poorly. We let up 26 points in a half. We’re playing good ball.
