Sometimes you gotta win an ugly one and we did just that. Keaton, Ben, and Mirk were absolutely phenomenal tonight. Big Z bringing the D, and doing what we had to do. Great win. It really was. We did what Purdue couldn't after the big match.
In years past, this was an inexplicable loss. On to Lincoln!

I remember watching multiple games like this as a kid in 2005. Other team is playing with spirit, maybe it’s not a night where our offense is going to blitz the other team … but guess what? We’re super talented, we’re calm under pressure and eventually we’ll get separation and beat you.

Also, props to Mirkovich. That dude played great tonight. Big shots, big rebounds, handling the ball at times, and just played with great effort all night.
Keaton was just Keaton, which is insane…but Mirkovich and Humrichous were difference makers tonight.

I thought Mirk was great.
This is clearly Waglers team now, its starts with him, he is THE guy. His rise is just...unbelievable.
I thought we really started to miss Kylan tonight. We just dont have the quickness on the perimeter to keep up with smaller, quicker guards. Defense is going to have to be alot better against Nebraska.
I give Wasington credit, they came out, played hard, punched us in the mouth early and hit some tough shots.
Now all eyes turn toward Nebraska.

I noticed at least one time that a Washington player put the breaks on when they saw big z waiting for them. He blocked at least 2 shots that another player got a foul called that he doesn't credit for apparently.
Great grind it out big ten win. Washington played as well as they could. Might look a bit ugly but there will be those games! We win… that is what matters! We have a team where players contribute in a lot a ways! Great close out!
