I saw some replies from their fans on Twitter. Needless to say, they didn't take it well. Seems to be a case of "act like you've been there before" but they truly never have lol.I got curious and checked out the Huskers board on On3—big mistake. It’s a cesspool. Now I need to cleanse my eyes. Don’t repeat my mistake.
This could be a 30 for 30 Short or something. What a great story!![]()
Illinois’ Keaton Wagler was No. 261 in his class. Now he could be an NBA lottery pick
Wagler went mostly overlooked as a high school recruit, but is the leading scorer for a Final Four contender as a freshman.www.nytimes.com
"Williams made his case to high-major coaches, and most passed. But when he sent the tape to Illinois assistant Tyler Underwood, he found a believer . . . the film popped for Tyler Underwood, and the first thing that sold him was the passing. Underwood’s father, Illini coach Brad Underwood, loves players who can pass because he equates the skill to basketball intelligence, and Wagler played with his head up, advanced the ball at every opportunity and made every read."
420 is, indeed, difficult to beat.
Are there anyone else on Keaton's high school that is a d-1 player? Great win.
Literally laughed out loud6-0 in the Toni Bilic era
Watching this team is just pure basketball joy. In my younger days (last year and earlier this year), I would get rattled when things started going off the rails. But the vibe of this team is different than any Illini team I can recall since 2004-05. Nothing seems to shake them. Even missing Boswell. They just keep coming at you. I imagine they are no fun to play against.

Ethan Taylor 7-0 signed with SpartyYes, a very good center that is committed to MSU unfortunately. To lazy to look his name and ranking up.
Ha! 30 for 30 is an ESPN production. They still don't have Keaton's picture on his profile! Losers! This could be a 30 for 30 Short or something. What a great story!
This is exactly what I was expecting/hoping for from the guy with a Chucky and a Scream mask tattoo. Not sure I’ve ever seen a defensive player grinning like that. A whole different level of intimidation when you realize the guy guarding you is kinda crazy.
