In college that makes alot sense. But you need LBs that can play the run and the pass to run that schemeEven if you are a 4-3 most of the time you have your nickel on the field. I would guess a 4-2-5
In certain situations, yes, but I have always been a 4-3 guy. A 4-3 is a better defense for blitzes. We need more pressure on the QB. Having two DT’s will keep the guards occupied while we will have one on one with our DE’s on their tackles which a fast middle LB or corner can get to the QB easier.Even if you are a 4-3 most of the time you have your nickel on the field.
