Michigan is very volatile

Imagine what people would think of them if they happened to drop the games they barely won vs Wake, TCU and Penn St

Wake was really the lone game you could say they PROBABLY got outplayed, as they lead for the majority of 2H, had a layup to win it.

PSU and TCU -- while they were close to losing both -- Michigan controlled the game mostly throughout.

Truth is, you will have to be on your A+ game to beat them. Purdue clearly isn't in that first half. And it isn't just shooting -- they look small and unathletic.

3 starters for Purdue… no points… goose eggs for Cluff, Smith and Cox.

That should change quickly into the 2nd half. 0% chance they end the game with nothing (barring injury/ejection).

The gameplan for Purdue can’t be and never should have been feed the ball to TKR and have him try and score against their size. He will never be efficient enough to keep them in the game.

Need to get much tougher on the boards. Mara tip outs are killing them. But Cluff has 3 fouls already. I might just go small with one big. Spread them out and hope for nuclear shooting.

Also how did they see intent with Cluff but not Fears in our game? BIG refs…

Especially against Mara. He's absolutely eating up the Purdue bigs.

Will also say, Michigan is a terrible matchup for Purdue. None of Purdues bigs can shoot and so Michigan can just pack the paint.

They won’t be able to do that against us.

Oh absolutely, those teams that nearly beat them all played their A games just to get close.

As you said, those couple games Michigan controlled throughout. We were also in control of the two overtime games, honestly both games hinged on one play that goes another way, those games don’t make it to overtime.

Just saying, they are volatile and have survived some close games

I think the only way Michigan loses this game is turnovers.

If you watched their MSU game, scUM was so much more dominant in that game.... however, turnovers let MSU back in it. It was quite literally their lone shot at not getting blown out.

This isnt what we wanted from Purdue tonight but the bottom line is quite frankly is we had 2 studs gey hurt.. We lost 2 games in overtime most likely that we wouldnt have. And whether we are ranked 10th or 5tj Las Vegas has us at5th to win the natty and if Boz and Dre were not hurt we would likely be on line with ScuM. Dtill suck tockd that if not for injuries that the game in CU vs Morez and his bitches was aided by injuries to the beloved. ILL ...Morez. keep shooting 3s. Your a good player but you cant hold mirks jock skill wise.

Michigan, offensively, will be able to get whatever they want in the paint against us. Our guys are tall, but aren't physical. They also aren't overly explosive/athletic. We're going to struggle mightily on defense.

Conversely, our bigs can stretch the floor and open the paint up. Michigan won't see that too often.

TKR is overrated, if he didn't have Smith and was on Rutgers he'd never make an all big ten team.

Much better half from him. Bad shot from Loyer, without that Purdue could have this lead cut to 10.

You have to hit a bunch of threes to have a shot against Michigan. More specifically, you have to have bigs that can stretch the defense.

I wish I could come up with a team that has that ability…

PROPS to Purdue fans. That place is the loudest place ive been ever when we had Efrem. And the Hump.was rocking when Miss State had Eric Dampier and went to the final 4 when i saw them play Kentucky...Bottom line not much better than college hoops.

I love Hummel but he didnt scare me like the Big Dog for a couple years. That dude was a beast. Closest thing B10 ever had to KD. But Glenn Rice and a yoing Wagler are rocking it. Studs leave !
