Rooting for Kansas to beat Houston tonight. Kansas doesn't really have a chance to jump us after their bad loss to Cincy. Need Houston to keep racking up L's.

People won’t agree because we’re all so obsessed with ST Louis, but I’d root for KU today.

Kansas will get to at least 9 Ls regardless as they still have games @AZ and B12 tournament.

A Houston loss COULD go a long way.

I tend to agree that rooting for KU over Houston is the way to go. My only concern is if KU gets on a roll to end the season and jumps us and take St Louis. So much can change in two weeks.

I just don’t see them winning @AZ.

Unless we lose to MD / Oregon, they’re going to finish with at least one more loss than us, regardless of what happens against Houston.

Their metrics aren’t great either: 18 in the NET. 19 on KPom.

Illinois is 4th in both.

Lville’s the type of 6 or 7 seed I would not want to play. A team that’s extremely talented but has grossly underperformed this season.

This is not me saying I’d pick us to lose, just that there’s BETTER options available.

I think I'm beyond tired of someone posting 'I would not or don't want to play x team'. I will never understand that especially with this year's team. Louisville has shown me very little to make me feel worried about playing them. There isn't any team in the ACC sans Duke that worries me.

I loved Tre Whites abilty to drive and play. He gotvin BUs dog house a few games last year. He was basically replaced with Andre. I like em both and im glad Tre is doing well. Unless he plays our boys. I wish we still had him. He is shooting the cover of it this year and playing elite for KU

Struggling to see why Houston is number 5. They can’t score. Their best wins are TT at home and at BYU.

Now that I have said that we’ll see if they go on a run.

Just so people realize other teams have issues as well: Houston is beating treated like a Camp Crystal Lake counselor in Lawrence, and they have scored a whopping 41 points in 32 minutes.

Louisville’s had quite a disappointing year IMO.

Kinda insane some people were actually calling for Pat Kelsey over Brad after that Nebraska game.
Let’s check in on a few our favorite Brad Replacement Candidates:

Sean Miller @ Texas: 17-10 (KP 32)

Chris Beard @ Ole Miss: 11-16 (KP 82)

Will Wade @ NC State: 19-8 (KP 25)

Brad Underwood @ Illinois: 22-6 (KP 4)

And before anyone jumps in and says, “but resources!”

Kentucky has the most expensive roster in college basketball, yet they’re 17-10 KP 31. Money makes an impact, but it takes more than money to win.

Just wanted to bring it up -- one thing I've found interesting about the kenpom ratings is that Mississippi Valley State is continuously rated as the worst team in the country. They've held the 365th spot every time I've checked... for the last 3 years?

Must be a miserable place to be.

Good result last night with Kansas beating Houston!

Tonight we want Iowa St to lose @Utah. Very unlikely but you never know on the road.
