I’m done giving Tyler credit for the offensive success

There’s still a lot of basketball left, and I like them as people — but at what point do you reconsider bringing the Ivisic brothers back…
They're fine IF you have some physicality SOMEWHERE. Two big strong guards who can ball pressure world work, a physical 3 that can straight line drive and finish at the rack works......

We don't have any physical toughness on the roster whatsoever. Going the Euro route was the one we took. Brad wants to spread everyone out and shoot, which is fine if you can reliably shoot 40%. We obviously can't.

This was not a mental issue with our guys. IF we play again, no change in game plan. Make 15+ threes. That's our roster. Embrace it.

Made the score respectable at least. 🤷‍♂️ No reason we can’t make a deep postseason run still. This is one of very few teams that has answers to what we do best on offense and can negate our height advantage.
I don't know man. This team, and Brad's history here, has round of 32 loss written all over it. Hope I'm wrong, but I just don't see a deep run.

I am convinced that you can still build a roster that can be one of the best offense in the country and at the same time be athletic and physical. Lol. This season and last are hampered by not having those traits which make aspects like defense hair poor.

I still really think this year's group is much better than last year's.

But, we do need some athleticism on the wing this offseason.

Michigan is a Tier 1 team. We are a Tier 2 team. Simple as that.

Everything after a Sweet 16 appearance is gravy for this team unfortunately.
We ain’t making the 2nd weekend so there’s that. Brad is a terrible coach and Dusty just put his nuts in his mouth. Why did we become so white and unathletic?

Not quite the beatdown when we played Duke last year or UCONN in the Elite 8 but a fairly dominant performance by Michigan. That Cason injury could be problematic for them if serious but otherwise, I do believe they are Final 4 caliber and I'd say we probably aren't but if the ship can be righted and with the right matchups, I see at least another Elite 8 run in us. We just couldn't handle their bigs at all. I'm surprised that Big Z didn't get more run considering his shot blocking capabilities since nothing else was working in that 2nd half

And I am huge Ben fan this year … Off the bench … In this role …

The exact role he should’ve had all along … He’s been great in this role …

Yeah love Ben great dude plays hard but he is no Morez Johnson. Last season I would've been pissed if I was Morez as well

We tried to warn you guys, but you chose to be arrogant, laugh at us, and insist that the UCLA loss was "no big deal".

Ya reap what ya friggin' sow, I guess.

The types of players you envision are extremely coveted. Dusty did that this year so mad props to him but that’s why Michigan is special this year. It’s so much easier said than done to put together a roster that’s elite offensively, athletic & physical.

Need to move on next year, just hasn't worked out. You can't have your expected top scoring wing put in that kind of performance and essentially get banished to the back of the rotation
For a coaching staff that wants shooting, going out and paying lots of money for a player that has no jump shot and is one dimensional on offense was a choice indeed.

Is this really true though? Didn't insiders say he'd signed a deal and been promised he'd start? And by the end of last season Morez was getting more minutes than Ben, except for games where he got in foul trouble, so again, don't think this rings true.
There was a lot of damage by Morez not playing against cupcakes last year. Averaged 14 minutes/game then broke his wrist. Didn't think he would come back.

You bring them back IMO.

The brothers are good college players. The Michigan front court are all NBA players and future 1st rounders in my opinion.

The bigger question is Andrej....and maybe not even a question. I think you look to upgrade on him.

People want to say “learn and get better” what are we even saying with this? If they didn’t learn from UCLA they aren’t learning from this. It’s almost March. This is the offense and defense, they aren’t changing anything.

Not much to comment upon other than Michigan played very well on both ends and the Illini did not. Learn, get better, move on.
It's March. Not sure what rabbit out of hat you think happen between now and the NCAAs. The team is a liability against athletic players. That's not changing. Mirk and Stoj got played off the court.
